Roadcheck 2011 Coming June 7-9
Roadcheck is the largest targeted enforcement program on commercial vehicles in the world, with approximately 14 trucks or buses being inspected, on average, every minute from Canada to Mexico during a 72-hour period.

PUCO rescinds administrative rules applying to private commercial motor carriers. The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) rescinded administrative rules applying to private commercial motor vehicles with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) between 10,001 and 26,000 pounds operating in intrastate commerce. OSHA Issues New Directive on Residential Construction
New Residential Construction Standard STD 03-11-002 becomes effective 6/16/2011. OSHA has issued a directive rescinding the Interim Fall Protection Compliance Guidelines for Residential Construction (STD 03-00-001). This new directive requires all residential construction employers to comply with 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which requires the use of conventional fall protection systems for each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels.
