Safety Programs

Safety Professional Certificate Program -- This program is designed for personnel, and their supervisors, who are responsible for safety and health audits in construction and general industry environments. Individuals completing this program will be recognized by their peers as having achieved a superior safety education. Click here to download an informative registration flyer.

Challenge Program -– This program is offered to our members that are interested in participation in OSHA’s elite VPP program. Challenge is a roadmap to attaining VPP. Participants must first be approved by OSHA and sponsored by a Challenge Administrator. Ohio Valley Construction Education Foundation/Mid-America OSHA Education Center is an approved OSHA Challenge Administrator. For more information visit OSHA's Challenge web page. Safety Services - A number of members have had to reduce their staff and the safety director was victim of the cut. Mid-America OSHA Education Center provides a safety services program to handle your safety needs on 3 levels, all at less cost than a full time employee. Services start at a minimum of eight hours per month and go up to 32 hours per month. All are based on an annual contract. Click here for more info.
