Create trainer card QR and export 6/17

  1. Go to Administrator Center
  2. Under Manager section click Create New Trainer QR Code
  3. Select the name of the trainer who taught the course from the dropdown
  4. Select the radio button of the course that the trainer completed
  5. Click in the date field and select the month and date of the last class session
  6. Search/Enter the name(s) of the trainers who are authorization recipients (verify the e-mail address is correct in case of same name issue)
  7. Submit
  8. This creates the authorization for each of these  “new trainers”

Next create the export for the trainer cards process

  1. Go to Dashboard>All Export>New Export>select Certs from dropdown
  2. Click Add Filtering Options
  3. Click Select Element>type “trainer” and select Auth-Trainer Name
  4. Click Select Rule>select “contains”
  5. Click Value box and type in last name of the trainer (who taught the class)
  6. Click Add Rule button
  7. Repeat #3 and type in “date”.  Select Auth-End Date of Course
  8. Click Select Rule>select “contains”
  9. Click Value box and type in end date of class (format YYYY-MM-DD)
  10. Click Add Rule button
  11. Click Customize Export button
  12. Click “Load Template” dropdown and select “Trainer Cards” and a revised window appears (validate number of exports and that you have the right template)
  13. Name the friendly name field:  format TrainerName_type_trainer_date (I.e., hawkey_Con_trainer_06192017)
  14. Confirm to run report.  Click CSV button then choose option to save and open.  Will auto open into Notepad++
  15. Verify the file is complete and formatted correctly for Trudy’s card printing process.
  16. Save as export name but add the number of record before the file extension; and change to .txt instead of csv.
  17. Test the export in Card Management Software before releasing to Trudy.
