- Go to Administrator Center
- Under Manager section click Create New Trainer QR Code
- Select the name of the trainer who taught the course from the dropdown
- Select the radio button of the course that the trainer completed
- Click in the date field and select the month and date of the last class session
- Search/Enter the name(s) of the trainers who are authorization recipients (verify the e-mail address is correct in case of same name issue)
- Submit
- This creates the authorization for each of these “new trainers”
Next create the export for the trainer cards process
- Go to Dashboard>All Export>New Export>select Certs from dropdown
- Click Add Filtering Options
- Click Select Element>type “trainer” and select Auth-Trainer Name
- Click Select Rule>select “contains”
- Click Value box and type in last name of the trainer (who taught the class)
- Click Add Rule button
- Repeat #3 and type in “date”. Select Auth-End Date of Course
- Click Select Rule>select “contains”
- Click Value box and type in end date of class (format YYYY-MM-DD)
- Click Add Rule button
- Click Customize Export button
- Click “Load Template” dropdown and select “Trainer Cards” and a revised window appears (validate number of exports and that you have the right template)
- Name the friendly name field: format TrainerName_type_trainer_date (I.e., hawkey_Con_trainer_06192017)
- Confirm to run report. Click CSV button then choose option to save and open. Will auto open into Notepad++
- Verify the file is complete and formatted correctly for Trudy’s card printing process.
- Save as export name but add the number of record before the file extension; and change to .txt instead of csv.
- Test the export in Card Management Software before releasing to Trudy.
